HCL company of Ludhiana visited the computer department of college on Nov. 17, 2015. Mr. Nitin presented the seminar on ‘JAVA Language’. He has explained how JAVA is useful in IT Company and how student can enhance bright future in IT industry. He has also provided the information on another technology implementation such as Object Oriented Language, Procedural Language etc.
The department of Computer Science organize an interview by NIIT on Sep 2, 2016. TeamLease along with IIJT organized an aptitude test in the college campus. The test comprised of three sections for checking the abilities of students in English, Mathematics and Logic’s (Each section consisted of 20 sections). After the test they conducted a seminar of 20 minutes to guide the students for further career opportunities.

The workshop on ‘ABAP Programming Language’ was organized by the department Computer Science of Devki Devi Jain Memorial College for Women, Ludhiana on Mar 8, 2016. Ms. Shalini hosted this workshop. ABAP is a programming language used in SAP software. She has guided the students, how to use ABAP with other modules like finance, marketing, etc.
By this workshop, students got extra knowledge about SAP. It was applauded by students & staff member of our college.
The seminar on ‘SAP’ software was organized by deptt. of computer science on Feb 26, 2016. Ms. Shalini presented a seminar on SAP software. She guided the students about real time exposure to industry. She has also introduced that SAP is an ERP package that uses ABAP (Advance Business Application Program) Language. This software is suitable to communicate with international vendors.
The seminar has provided extra knowledge to students and it has deeply applauded by the students and staff members of the college.
A workshop on Importance of Soft skills for great career in MNCs’ was organized by the deptt. of computer science in collaboration with IBT on Feb 19, 2016. The workshop was presented by Mr. Kiran Kurwade, CMO, MILE, Pune. The workshop consisted of various activities with the students and made them aware of professional behaviors of the corporate world. Mr. S. Tiwary, Director, IBT, Ludhiana informed students regarding the future banking jobs, related examinations and training.
Ansh Infotech company of Ludhiana visited the computer department of Devki Devi Jain Memorial College on Nov. 6, 2015, Mr. Ansh presented the seminat on Latest Technologies in IT sector.
In the introductory session, they provide information on various framework, how to use and which is better. Mr. Arneja discuss about types of project such as Mobile Application Development, Robotics, Real world projects. He has also provided knowledge on sixth sense technology.
